A new study shows the benefits of meditation.   Meditation techniques can help improve attention and your memory.   By meditating for 1 hour for 8 days students were able to improve their grades as well as their working memory and their minds did not wander as much.    Meditation has also been shown to help us get a better night’s sleep as well.   It seems that a relaxed mind goes to sleep quicker and allows us to enter REM sleep sooner.    So if you need to increase your memory and have more refreshing sleep try meditation.
