During a time of loss it is good to receive grief counseling advice.   A person willing to listen can be a big help.   However what happens when that is not enough?  Grief effects everyone differently.   What if you need time off from work but cannot receive it?  Most employers will only give you a few days then expect you back.   Some places require you to use your vacation time.  Others expect you to work without anytime off!   Hopefully soon you will be able to take more time off and not worry about keeping your job.   The S. 1358: Parental Bereavement Act of 2011 will allow you to take 12 unpaid weeks to grief the loss of your child.   If you want to show your support for this act, you should contact your representative and let them know how you feel.
For more on the history of the act please go here to USAtoday.
If you want to earn your online grief counseling certificate or take online grief counseling courses then you should visit our website for more information.
