Addiction is a difficult problem to overcome. Meditation can help one overcome the challenges of addiction and alcohol. Through meditation, one can learn the disciple to possibly even stop drinking.

“There are many practices and applications of meditation to stop drinking. Meditation teaches us that we don’t have to react to dispiriting thoughts and cravings. We learn that we have choices, and can choose to remain in the present moment while acknowledging the thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations that habitually trigger maladjusted behavior. ”
