Helping migrants adjust and adapt to new homes is a difficult process. Many face unique challenges, different griefs and losses, as well as numerous prejudices awaiting them. Grief counselors need to have a general understanding of the nature and mindset of the migrant and the psychological issues that come with it during migrant counseling.
