CM 400 – The Case Manager: Role and Practice

This online course is designed for case managers who have achieved certification and are practicing currently. This is a comprehensive course that fully examines the role of the contemporary case manager within many varied practice settings. Students will explore and study a wide variety of materials that relate to legal and ethical issues in case management, the case management process, financial issues in case management, administration and management of case management programs, as well as cultural and behavioral health issues. Many excellent case studies are presented for review and facilitation of practical learning. CM 405 – Case Management and The New Health Care Law

This comprehensive CE course provides an in depth look at the new health care law. It is designed to give case managers a greater awareness of their role during a time when health care in America is changing. Students of this course will be able to verbalize changes to Medicare, Medicaid and the private insurance market as it relates to the government’s initiatives to provide health care to nearly every American. Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to interpret the new health care law and state the time lines for implementing these changes. Upon successful completion of this course, students earn 25 hours of continuing education contact hours toward Fellowship status recertification.  Course cost: $ 100.00. Course Code: CM 405.
