Biographical Information
Marcia is a recognized healing presence in mind, body and spirit modalities. An energy worker and private health advisor, she has been working in the holistic field of medicine for over 15 years. In 1999, she created Health Choice as an alternative for wellness seekers who choose to be responsible for their own well-being. Marcia provides services for individuals and small groups to advance their knowledge and experience in the total picture of the cause of dis-ease, offering solutions and new pathways to further their pursuit of wholeness, happiness, and peace. Having witnessed a multitude of positive outcomes with a myriad of clients and conditions, Marcia brings confidence, compassion, and courage to each individual encounter, offering her wisdom and personal touch.
Prior to beginning Health Choice, Marcia was a registered nurse for 25 years. Her diverse experience in a multitude of settings and situations has provided a much needed bridge to support her clients through the transition from illness to a healthier lifestyle. She continues her work as an RN, even today, integrating this knowledge and expertise with alternative counseling and therapies. She is a Reiki Master Teacher and has a certification in Iridology. She is under the direction of Dr. Lawrence Wilson for training in Nutritional Balancing, employing hair tissue analysis as a guide to body system realignment and detoxification.
Marcia received her nursing degree from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She also holds a Doctorate in Healtheology from AIHT, previously in Birmingham, Alabama. Her latest endeavor is the completion of a certification in spiritual counseling.
Marcia is a member in high standing with International Association of Reiki Professionals and American Holistic Nurse Association. She serves on the Board of Trustees of Unity of Nashville, a prayer chaplain, and Reiki Circle facilitator of the said church.
