Greetings to you! Thank you for taking the time to read my biography. My name is Demeka Jennings-Johnson. Currently, I am a School-based Mental Health Practitioner in a middle school located in Mercer County, New Jersey. I am a member of the school district’s crisis team, and a Certified Grief Counselor through the American Institute of Health Care Professionals. With competency, my aim is to equip mourners and the bereaved with invaluable insight regarding grief and loss.
My academic tenure includes the following: a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Rutgers University and a Master of Science Degree in Human Services from Capella University. Presently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Human Services with a specialization in Mental Health Facilitation at Walden University. My national memberships include the National Organization of Human Services (NOHS) and the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS).
With that said, my goal is to fuse my experience and knowledge base to empower people, their families, and the communities where they live. Again, my name is Demeka Jennings-Johnson, and I am at your service.
