Dr. Bev Vaughn is an ICRT Usui Holy Fire III Karuna Reiki Master Teacher, and an ICRT Animal Reiki Master, and she enjoys teaching and giving Reiki privately. She is a Breathworks Mindfulness for pain & anxiety coach and is a certified EFT tapping clinician. She works with cancer patients and survivors with the Hirsch Wellness Network. She volunteers in the infusion room at Cone Health Cancer Center in Greensboro, NC and also volunteers Reiki sessions to patients, staff and nurses through the Alight Program at the Cone Health Cancer Center. She is a co-founder of the Apis Collective,
Dr. Vaughn has her BM, MM and PhD in music education from Westminster Choir College and UNC Greensboro. She taught for 30 years in public schools and 43 privately. In addition to teaching choir, theater, humanities. and general music, she was a guest choral director for all-county programs, guest lecturer both nationally and internationally and taught private voice and piano. She founded and directed the Rockingham County Youth Chorus.
