HH 540 – Holistic Healing With Mindfulness

COURSE INFORMATION

This comprehensive, college-level continuing education course provides an in-depth exploration of mindfulness and meditation as evidence-based, trauma-informed, and healing-centered practices. The course integrates Eastern contemplative traditions with Western psychology, neuroscience, and therapeutic frameworks to support emotional regulation, stress reduction, self-compassion, and whole-person healing.

Unlike mindfulness programs that emphasize coping or relaxation alone, this course differentiates coping skills from healing skills, emphasizing therapeutic mindfulness, body-based emotional awareness, and non-judgmental presence. Learners will develop practical skills applicable across healthcare, counseling, coaching, and holistic wellness settings.
