An AI in health care certification from AIHCP remains valid for four years, with an option to renew through AIHCP’s health care recertification courses. This can involve participation in our courses designed for continuing education for healthcare professionals. Once completed, the candidate can add the “AI-HCCSp” credentials to their name which stands for “Artificial Intelligence in Health Care Certified Specialist”.
The program itself consists of two required CE courses, which will cost a total of $400 and include the courses below. After completing the courses there is a certification fee for the AI in health care certification of $220, plus shipping and handling, which includes the official certificate, ID card, and other related documents.

Renewing Your Certification as AI in Health Care Specialist
Your certification is valid for four years from the date of your initial certification. To continue using the credentials after that time, you will need to become recertified, specifically via AIHCP’s recertification program. The recertification fee is $220, plus shipping and handling, and you need to provide evidence of at least 50 contact hours of continuing education in the form of studies, lectures, and learning activities related to artificial intelligence in health care. You will also have to present proof of at least 500 hours of practice, specifically with the certification that you want to renew, over the initial four-year certification period.
