Bio – Anne-Christine Witzgall
Born and raised in Berlin, Germany, my academic journey unfolded with a focus on Journalism, Psychology, and Sociology. I have been working in Munich, Paris and Berlin. In 2005, I embarked on a new chapter by immigrating to the US, where I explored various roles in human development and became a co-founder of the Goethe International Charterschool in Los Angeles.
My path eventually led me to become a certified Life Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation. Captivated by the intricacies of transgenerational trauma, I delved deeply into its impact on my homeland. Under the rigorous guidance of Thomas Hübl, I sharpened my skills in transparent communication and expanded my understanding of transgenerational trauma, both its collective ramifications and its personal effects on me.
Through this profound journey, I transitioned into grief counseling and became a certified grief counselor with AIHCP, finding purpose in providing support to those navigating loss. Actively co-facilitating groups and leading a grief group at OUR HOUSE in Los Angeles, I extend solace and support to individuals traversing the complexities of grief.
Moreover, I poured my experiences and insights into my memoir, "FREEING RAPUNZEL." This book chronicles my personal journey of liberation from the shadows of my family's past in Cold War-era Berlin, capturing moments of resilience and growth.
