Hi All,
My name is Jeff Chalakani and i am currently (for the last 2 years) a staff chaplain at the children’s hospital but I am very soon going back to hospice as a chaplain. I have about 7 years in hospice chaplaincy and 25 year in ministry. So, I registered for the course/program in fall/winter 2021 then I had a family member die just as i started. After that 3 of our close friends died of Covid. It has been quite a few months to say the least.
I am now trying to get back into the swing of this and find my MOJO .. lol. Not easy. I’m an older student and I’m completely out of study/reading practice. How do you guys all find your “mojo”?
remember the "why" you started and take time to focus on "your" goals and the why. I know we waste alot of time myself included. Be intentional about about finishing. good luck.
Nice to meet you , Crystal !
I have had success with placing appointments to read and study in my calendar. Otherwise, I am with you, other things fill my dance card. Good luck. (I am a hospice/oncology/trauma nurse) cheers to you on your important work!
So happy you restarted. I hope your journey contiues to be successful
